good times

Hope your weekend is lovely! I hope to go rock shopping, for a little walkway with herbs and flowers and greenery tucked in between the stone path. I always try to make it to the farmer's market to support my local growers... yum! I always end up with a few more plants to bring home too... what if they started selling baby goats!

I haven't had much to post about, Wednesday I took a day off because a wonderful friend offered me a ride and a free lift pass to go downhill skiing! Travis and I stick to the nordic trails usually, it is only $15 for rentals, which makes the ski lodge experience look so expensive in comparison. Plus I am not a speed junkie, so I enjoy the ups and downs of the cross country trails. Here are some snowy pics and a silly video for you to enjoy! See you next week.

spring formal

spring azaleas

Rain in the valley  = Snow on the mountain! I decided these outfit pics will suffice for my Easter celebration. I'm much more into pagan earth worship, so appropriately I will be on a mountain, bidding farewell to winter's frozen sports.

easter dress in the garden

I imagine if I were to wear this frock to a delightful Easter party, I would be surrounded by pastels and florals and frilly things. I think this dark dress brightens up perfectly with flower-pinned belt and would assert itself as the dark rose of the ball. I have a flair for drama I suppose. And dresses.

Phoebe joined me in a nonchalant gazing into space photo op.

But seriously, so many yards are like an Easter basket explosion! Tulips of all color, bright violet blooms, magenta, fuschia, yellows all popping against the fresh lime green of new growth.

I am so in love with my new necklace from Jenny!

It just goes with anythiing, is the perfect length, and makes me feel so blingy!

sunshine and snow

Second ever nordic skiing expedition.... 100% successful!

Finished a new hat en-route to the trailhead!

The mountain view was crystal clear...

Oh Mt Hood... what a treasure you are!

Only one fall... quite a spectacular face plant! Otherwise I am completely sore in such a good way.
Afterwards we capped off a successful day with Oregon microbrews and a dip in the Kennedy School soaking pool.
