sweet peas

garden bed

The beds are all tilled and planted. The apple blossom petals shower the yard with love.

Arugula, Dill, Cilantro, Turnips, Carrots, Lettuce, Wildflowers, Radishes, Beets, Chard, Tomatillos, Ancho Chile, Cucumbers, and Peas!

Starts soak up the sun, and the sprouts grow larger every day!
I've spotted some digging holes in the squash bed... pesky vermin!

We have several plants coming in from behind the fences, the euphorbia and this lovely purple tree flower. I keep calling it a lilac, however it doesn't smell. Any guesses about its true nature?
These migrating plants must want some of the good life in our fun little backyard! Or just they just want their picture to make it onto the internets, so I oblige them.

  1. hoorah! it looks gorgeous! those beds are just perfect, I have a feeling mine won't end up looking half as good...

  2. oh yay!! what a great garden! not sure what the purple things are sis has some sprouts that i think are cucumbers, that should be fun! i think we will try to do some peppers again this year, they come fairly easily so hopefully we can get some growing again!

  3. I am so jealous of your large garden space! It looks so perfect for planting. Isn't is so much fun to watch things sprout? I see the peas are doing very well!
